Playtech is developing a very good reputation within the internet gambling industry. The company develops gambling software for dozens of recognised leading brands to offer online casinos throughout Europe and the rest if the world.
Quarter 3 reports indicate Playtech that the company has exciting expansion plans after securing another top licensee William Hill. Additionally, the company plans to introduce new games and new partnership before the end of 2008. Playtech, is planning to launch an Asian P2P gaming platform to the global market, as well as many other exciting new products.
The introduction of William Hill is by far the biggest news.
William Hill is one of the UK’s largest high street and online bookmakers, who are planning on developing further their online presence. The new deal will replace the William Hill’s existing online gambling platform provider and slowly replacing the old software with Playtech’s very own. The transition will begin in January 2009, the entire transitional period is expected to be 12 months.
Online casinos are highly competitive in the UK and the five-year minimum licensing agreement with Playtech will surely give the company a leg up on the competition.
The UK online casino market is very competitive. Playtech’s ability to secure a five year licensing agreement will surely set the company in good stead.
